laundry basket

Hi, I am going to a baby shower tomorrow and thought I would share this idea for a great present.  I made a laundry basket.  I went shopping for baby clothes and used clothespins to attach them to a clothesline.  I folded the line carefully so when I take it out of the basket it will be a line with all the clothes hanging from it.  I am having trouble uploading the picture.  I will try again later.

The Drover's Roast

Hi All,
The day was beautiful and the food was great at the Drover's Roast at Salem Cross Inn.  I sold many baskets and made a few while I was demonstrating basket making.  Everything was perfect.  Kara, a fellow artist sold  her lovely paintings and another friend, Lou, sold penny rugs.  The day was just lovely. I will post pictures soon.

The Drover's Roast

I am getting ready for the Drover's Roast at Salem Cross Inn.  It is a great event.  I demonstrate basket making in costume and sell my baskets.  I have been preparing all week.  If it is a nice day, it is really fun.  I have lots of baskets made to sell.  Busy, busy, busy . . .

Spring Basket Sale

Hi All,
I am having a spring basket sale at Cat Alley Antiques.  It is an antique/craft shop in the center of Barre where I rent a space.  I will be putting in a selection of spring baskets "ON SALE" this weekend.  Just got back from visiting in Georgetown so now it is back to work!

Rainy Day Baskets

It is pouring here in Central MA so I thought I would spend some time making baskets.  I have made a few May Day baskets to give to friends.  I also have two orders to fill.  I will take some pictures and put them on my blog tomorrow after they are stained.  I hope tomorrow is nice outside so I can stain them.  Wishing you sunshine!

Louis Loves His Easter Basket

Hi
Just thought I would include a picture of my dog, Louis, on my blog.  I just finished making a few more baskets.  I guess Louis liked this one for himself because he carried it over to his bed!  I will stain it for him and fill it for Easter.  I have been making many baskets and will post pictures of the baskets soon.

Easter Tags

A friend gave me some wonderful Easter tags. They are varied pictures of old vintage rabbits and rabbit families. They look great on the baskets. I left the remainder of my Easter baskets at Cat Alley Antiques in Barre. This is a little antique store on the common in Barre. There are many great things to see and buy. I have a spot where I sell my antiques as well as baskets.

New Easter Basket

Hi

I just finished a new Easter Basket. I think it is really sweet so I decided to share it. I dyed the reed a spring green which is a really pretty color. Although I made this as an Easter Basket, it really can be used year round. It has a hand painted panel on the front of two bunnies. Enjoy!

I will be selling my baskets at the Asparagus Festival in May. I just got a few orders for Easter Baskets so I will be making many in the weeks to come. Finally, spring has arrived. I can now stain my baskets and dye the reed outside.
